The life blood of any website is traffic, not traffic in thereal world sense, but a large flow of internet visitors to yourwebsite. The more visitors to your website, the more money youwill make. But getting a large flow of visitors is not as easyas it sounds, it doesn't just happen, you have to make ithappen, and here are 4 very effective ways of doing this:

1) Conduct joint ventures with other webmasters or list owners.Creating an effective joint venture is one of the quickest andmost profitable ways of boosting your website traffic andmassively increasing your sales.

A joint venture is simply an agreement made between two partiesin which they both benefit. In your case, you have a product tosell and what you need to find is somebody who has a large listof subscribers and who is looking for good quality products tooffer their list. You would offer the list owner a percentage ofeach sale in exchange for them recommending your product totheir subscribers.

The key with joint ventures is to find list owners who are notdirect competitors. For example, if you have a product relatedto puppy care you joint venture with somebody who has an ezinededicated to breeding, or you could joint venture with yourlocal vet.

2) Write articles related to the topic of your niche product andsubmit them to as many article directories and ezine editors youpossibly can. Writing articles serves three purposes:

i) It sets you up as an expert in your niche. If your articlesappear in many newsletters and hundreds of websites, people willperceive you as an expert.

ii) At the bottom of each article there is a brief bio in whichyou can place a link back to your website. If people areimpressed with the content of your article, they will click onthe link to your website to read more.

iii) Each of your articles that are published on the internet isone more link back to your website. The more links that pointback to your website the more relevant your website will appearto the search engines and the higher your page will rank.

The key with articles is to submit them everywhere, to as manydifferent places as possible. Submitting articles manually willtake days, so use a paid submission service.

Promote your website using pay per click search engines. Yourfirst task is to find as many keywords and keywords phrasesrelated to your product (that people are typing into the searchengines) as possible. We're not talking about ten or twenty, buthundreds, over a thousand if you can. Next you need to create abrief classified type advertisement which has a catchy benefitladen headline.

When you have these, enter them into your pay per click searchengine and decide on a maximum bid for each keyword (the amountyou are prepared to pay when a person clicks on the headline foryour advertisement). When a surfer enters the same keywordphrase as one of yours associated with your advertisement, youradvertisement will be displayed as a "Sponsored Listing" and ifthe surfer clicks your ad, you get charged the bid amount andthe surfer is taken to your website.

4) Get as many links as possible pointing to your website. Asmentioned earlier, the more links pointing to your website, thehigher it will rank in the search engines for the keywords youhave optimized the page for.

There is another side to having hundreds or thousands of linkspointing to your website... You also get a considerable amountof traffic from people clicking on those links. This type oftraffic tends to be very targeted as people won't click on atext link unless it is of interest to them.

Other than article writing, there are two major ways of gettinglinks back to your website:

i) You can purchase text links back to your website from otherhigh ranking web pages. The key is to buy links on pages with asimilar theme to your website.

ii) You can create a reciprocal linking directory on yourwebsite. For each link you receive from another website, youwill place a return, or reciprocal link back to that website.The ultimate link directories are categorized to help surfersfind interesting links and also because links of a similar themegive the page they appear on the same theme, which is importantfor link relevancy and search engine optimization.

August 13, 2004 "Honk if You Love Dogs!", read the sticker on the old van's back bumper. Joyfully, a yellow Labrador Retriever lapped the breeze through the half cracked window on the passenger's side. He was so happy to be alive and riding with his person that you could feel his joy. Caught up in emotion, I chuckled and patted my own dog (Prudence) as the old van overtook us and rambled on down the highway. As it passed, I thumped my horn a couple of times. Chiming in, other vehicles beeped their opinion as the Econonline chugged on by. Good old America. "Land of the Free" A land of dog lovers. That's why so many American citizens are involved in Animal Rights groups. Correct? If you are one of the many that believe this statement to be true, you are sadly mistaken. Animal rights organizations are just the opposite of groups that truly love animals. These organizations do not love dogs nor do they love people. If you find this shocking, you are not alone. True enough, many members on the lower echelons of animal rights groups really do love animals but they are being used and deceived by a much more menacing group who has human enslavement as their final goal. Motivated by sensationalistic imagery and encouraged by shallow movie stars who don't take the time to look deeply into issues before opening their mouths, the foot soldiers of the animal rights army donate hard earned cash as well as their time to promote a future America where animals are no longer "enslaved" by the Human bonds of love. These unenlightened, well meaning members are simply cogs in the wheel of a very big machine designed to CONTROL HUMAN RIGHTS. Currently these so called Animal Rights groups are trying to take away our Human Right to pet ownership but someday, if they are successful in taking away our beloved pets, the animal rights groups will morph into something even more vile, such as removing our Human Right to own private property such as a home or a farm. From there, it's an easy step to taking away our right to private bank accounts and once they've taken our money and put it into a national account "for the greater good", it's a very slippery slope to total enslavement by a group known as the Communist Party. If this sounds like science fiction to you, then you weren't paying attention in history class. You need only to look as far back as Castro's Cuba, Nazi Germany, the atrocities of Communist China or the Russian Revolution to see how Fascism takes hold and crushes the spirit of the populous through fear and indignation. The idea of protecting cute fuzzy animals is the perfect Trojan Horse for gaining the populous' trust. Be careful who you support with your time and money. The rights you remove may be your own. Do you really want to live in a society that condemns pet ownership? Think about this. If everyone in the United States of America stopped breeding dogs - where would we find a dog after the current generation died out? If we were to follow zero population growth for dogs, meaning everyone spayed and neutered their dogs, within less than twenty years, dogs would be extinct in America. Yes, you read that right. Dogs would be extinct just like the Dinosaurs. Not so surprisingly, our beloved Heinz 57s would be the first to go since American mutts are nothing more than happy accidents between different breeds of purebred dogs. If the animal rights groups have their way, in the future, neither you nor I will be allowed to own a dog. But the elite will still have their dogs. Just like in the days of Prohibition, movie stars, rich politicians and other members of the elite classes will still be buying the things they want on the black market. Under the ruling party of the animal rights fascists, dogs will be hugely expensive and a privilege for the very few. The middle class will be enslaved and dogless. If this isn't your vision of our American heritage than share this story, learn all you can and speak out against the animal rights movement. Keep America free.... Honk if you love dogs!
