Good Lodging Options In Key West By Lindsey Lindquist The small island of Key West, Florida is unique in many ways. Located just a short distance off the southern tip of mainland Florida, this island has something to offer everyone. From the basics like food and shelter to fun activities like museums and beaches, this quaint and out-of-the-ordinary island is a must for vacationers. Key West is loved and enjoyed by cruise line guests, tourists, and year-round residents alike.
One of the wonderful things about Key West is the wonderful selection of hotels and other lodging arrangements it provides. Key West has everything from all-inclusive resorts, to hotels, to bed and breakfasts. While a lot of the people that come to Key West are aboard a cruise liner, those who come to stay will be pleasantly surprised at the wonderful places Key West has to stay.
Key West offers all price ranges of hotels, from the ultra expensive to the wonderfully inexpensive. If your budget lies somewhere in the middle, however, Key West has a number of great hotels that will give you a wonderful Key West experience without breaking the bank much.
One of the best moderately priced hotels in Key West is called Ambrosia Key West. This great, private compound has the highest occupancy rates of 90% year-round, which is a record in Key West. The compound is set on two lovely acres, setting guests away from the crowds. But it is also conveniently located just a block from Duval Street, giving guests easy access to town. There is a cottage, townhouses, and suites for rental. Townhouses are equipped with living rooms, kitchens, and master suites. The cottage, which overlooks a pool, is perfect for a family getaway. It has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living room, and a kitchen. Almost all rooms also include private verandas, patios, or gardens.
For guests that are interested in saving the world and its ecosystems, they will be completely drawn to the Double-Tree Grand Key Resort. This

resort is an ecologically conscious resort, meaning the hotels has been renovated with Eco-sensitive materials as well as created to save energy, lower waste, and protect the area's natural resources. The rooms are spacious and clean, with some overlooking the pool area. The hotel also recently added a Beach Club at Smathers Beach. It features a hut with chairs, towels, and umbrellas, as well as a variety of water-sports. The hotel provides a convenient and free shuttle service to transport guests back and forth. The hotel features a delicious restaurant, as well. The one and only drawback to the Double-Tree is that it is located about a ten minute drive away from Duval Street, a downfall if you are looking to be close to the action of the city.
For a more intimate experience, try La Pensione, which is a classic Bed and Breakfast. The B&B is located in a beautiful home built in 1891. The rooms have all the modern conveniences including air conditioning, ceiling fans, and king-size beds. Many also feature spacious verandas. Although there are no TVs here, its location is only steps away from Duval Street and the action there should keep guests plenty entertained. The breakfast features classic items such as waffles, fruits, breads, and muffins, which is a good start to any day.
Moderate pricing is a plus in Key West as they have many great hotels and resorts that offer wonderful services and great locations at a very convenient price. Article Source: Article Beam - a service of A1 Web Server Web Hosting Lindsey Lindquist - Group TravelEducational Tours
