Magic Behind Playing Cards Easily Or Strenuously By Sharon Gerad 2 For many years playing cards was just something old men did, in seedy gamming rooms, but recently cards have once again become a popular thing to do when sitting around with friends at home, in the coffee shop or in a casino. Here I have listed some of my favorite games. Some of the games are very easy and take only minutes to learn and some can be very difficult to learn and may take a lifetime to learn.
List of Easiest Games to Study 1) War: Here, all the cards are dealt out and each player, in turn, puts down a card from his pack. Note that since the deck in your hand faces the table, you do not see which card you are releasing. Once all the players have placed their respective card down, the highest card wins the round and takes all the cards that are on the table.
2) Who Lies Best? Like to cheat and lie? Then, this card game will suit you fine because only the best liar wins. Honest? Pick another game for you will lose horribly here. To win, you must declare that you have a set of cards or a single one and then lay it down on the table. Either of the players can challenge you, and if they are right, you have to keep all the cards that have been placed down on the table. If they were wrong, they must do the same.
3) Blackjack: Each player gets one face-down card and one face-up. He can ask for another and so forth. The goal of the game is to reach a higher total than that of the dealer while the ultimate top is 21. All cards above ten are counted as ten and the ace can be used as one or as eleven.
4) Joining the Fray: One of the more entertaining games (especially for children), it requires basic colour and number combinatory skills only. You have to match numbers such as by collecting all fours and all aces, and then release all your cards onto the game deck. The focus of this game is not that much on winning, but on not losing and that is what adds the extra spice to it. It does not matter who throws his cards down first, but the player who notices it last and his cards are the last to hit the table: loses.
List of Most Difficult Games to Learn 1) Mandrake: With extensive rules intertwined and conditioned to match different circumstances, Mandrake requires intense concentration as well as a highly tuned strategic outlook. All the cards are handed out, and the person with the 2 of Clubs starts. So far it is simple, but now it gets complex. The next player can either place an ace or a three, but these must be either of a different colour or if of the same colour then it must be accompanied by a trump card determined only for that round. The others can use this card or override it by crossing it with two Kings or a Queen and a Jack. There are many more rules, too many too mention here, so just pass over this game if anyone ever suggest teaching it to you.
2) Pass the Anchor: The
Anchor stands for the Ace of Clubs, and the object here is to complete the entire suit from Ace to King. One can block progress by using a different colour and to take this out someone has to buy it with other cards. The winner is that player with the King. This is kind of like taking part in a market except that you have to hand over what you have but this is considered a turn as well. Towards the end of the game, it becomes tedious, and it would never end if not for the rule that you cannot buy twice.
3) DOHH: Dohh is a fun game. What makes it hard to play is that the looser gets a punch in the arm from the other players. An entire deck of cards is split evenly between the players. Each player turns over their top card. The player with the highest card gets to punch the player with the lowest card in the arm. The only way to win is to be the last person in the game. When the deck of cards has been gone thru the deck is reshuffled and dealt again. Until all players give up except one.
